About Us

Catholic Tours NYC is a project of certified GANYC guide Joseph Salvatore Knipper. 

Joseph has been leading tourists on joyful frolics through the streets of NYC since 2022. He started Catholic Tours NYC because he wanted to tell the story of the Church not as a villain or a scapegoat, but as a powerful part of New York's story.

He is a lifelong Catholic, a former actor, and a current church choir member. He currently resides in the Bronx.
